Health & Body: INTRODUCTION

How does your Body affect your Mind?

Your body is the first place to check when your mind is lost. Eating healthy foods, drinking enough water, getting in the right vitamins, getting enough sun, getting fresh air, exercising, etc. will be the first places you should check when you're feeling uneasy.

Small Changes to a Better Life

Changing every habit altogether can be super intimidating and difficult, but breaking it down into one change at a time will make all the difference.

Do your body & Diet affect your mind?

Energy Comes from Food

Being Disconnected from Your Body Creates Fear

Being Disconnected from Your Body Creates Fear

Your body is a machine that runs off of the foods you eat instead of gasoline. The things that you put into your body should be able to create power for as long as you need them to, while also being natural enough to keep your systems healthy.

If you tend to put whatever in your body and never really pay attention to what's going on, you may sometimes feel unexplainable fear, health-related or not. When you don't know what's going on health-wise, it feels very scary.

Exercise and Exertion Lower Cortisol

Eating Vitamin-Rich Foods Protects You from the Inside Out

A super great thing to know and use is that when you are able to exert yourself, you are actually lowering cortisol. You will actually feel better after a good run or workout mentally than you did before.

You need vitamins in order to keep your body healthy. These vitamins all exist in nature, and will keep everything in you protected and flowing. It is easy to eat a vitamin-rich diet by eating foods in their natural state - meat, eggs, fruit, veggies, seeds, nuts, etc.

You are Made of Nature

Your Mind Also Affects Your Body

Your body is nature, even though it's very easy to forget in society today. It's a great idea to watch what you put into your natural body (chemicals, inflammatory oils, dyes, enriched foods), and understand that those things cannot fuel you in a way that protects your natural body. You can feel the difference in your mood when your body is fueled properly.

Your Mind Also Affects Your Body

These can also work backwards as well. When your mind is unstable, the extra stress will cause your systems to malfunction. This is due to the hormones released by your mind as a response to the stress. The extra hormones put a load on your body, as it lives in fight or flight mode. The better the hold is on your mind, the healthier your body will be.

80/20 = Healthy & Peaceful Diet

Obviously, eating vitamin-rich, chemical-free foods is very important to your body and every system within. If you eat nature, your body knows exactly what to do with it, as it all has a place. However, in order to keep your mind healthy, which equally matters, eating stress-free with 80% healthy foods will make every piece of your body happy. Every so often the pizza is okay! Too much stress hurts your body too.

This also makes it easier to keep the 'diet' going longer!

Your Body is Your Temple

You Are What You Eat

Eating foods that fuel you will make your life feel better. You'd be astonished by how different you feel depending on what you eat. Foods that are made out of ingredients you can't pronounce are doing more damage than you think.

Food should be more than just eating, it should be fueling. Eating foods that fuel you will make all of the machinery work better. This goes for your mind, your organs, your systems, and everything else.  If you've been feeling off, I can almost assure you it's what you're eating.

Eating from the Earth is the key. This means eating one-ingredient foods that have real nutritional value. The foods on the Earth are here for a reason. They are meant to keep you thriving.

A huge thing to keep in mind is moderation. You should allow yourself to have artificial dyes and seed oils sometimes. You're human. As long as your priority is eating foods that feel good, then eating those things sometimes is not an issue. The funniest part is that those things stop sounding good after eating healthy for a while.

Don't put too much pressure on yourself, but try out an Earth-based diet. I promise your life will change drastically.

The Best (Affordable) Foods to Be Eating

It's definitely understandable to think healthy foods are pricey. The more expensive health foods tend to be the processed ones. If you're able to avoid those you're set. Here's some affordable healthy foods:

1. Chia Seeds, Quinoa, & Hemp Seeds

All of these have insane vitamins and will give your body everything it needs to run. Bags of these aren't very expensive, and you'll feel amazing. Bulk is better when it comes to seeds.

2. Basic Fruits (Organic if Possible)

Fruit is a must. It gives you vitamins and minerals that your body will thrive off of. I highly recommend eating fruit every day. You don't have to buy organic fruit, but the least amount of chemical intake you can have is the best.

3. Animal Eggs, Meat, Organs, etc.

Anything that comes off of an animal will fuel you in some way. Using animal products in your meals and as supplements will change your life. Protein will build your muscle, and it keeps your body running longer.
